In today’s Gospel Jesus uses the image of the grain of wheat dying to produce an abundant yield. In many ways, as we look around our parish, homes, and workplaces, we find people putting that into practice. Their sacrificial love and care and concern for others gives us a living example of “dying to self.”

Father Lee Roos

I would like to thank the entire parish community for your prayers and support and cards and best wishes after my injury and surgery to my arm. This has been a beautiful, spiritual experience in which you all have been a part. I have offered Mass for all of your intentions.

Fr. Juan Puigbó

That Man Is You (TMIY) addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. Men, please join us at our next meeting on Sat., Mar. 24 in the Activities Center. Our formal program begins at 6:30 am preceded by a light breakfast and fellowship starting at 6:00 am. This week, we continue to look at the unitive stage of the spiritual life. We also discuss Jesus’s unity with his Mother from the Incarnation to Calvary to the end of time. We too are called to unity within our families which will lead us to union with God. How can we live that union? By recalling our first love and living it out with an abiding presence, loving service, and joyful sacrifice. The outline follows:• Unity in Love for God the
