St. Vincent De Paul Food Distribution The St. Vincent De Paul distribution of food for families in need will

Catechetical Sunday 2021 Catechetical Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the role

that each person plays, by virtue of Baptism, in handing on the faith and be-ing a witness to the Gospel. This year, the Church will celebrate Catechetical Sunday on September 19, 2021 and the theme is: “Say the Word and My Soul Shall be Healed.”

Priests’ Retreat Week All diocesan priests will be at an annual retreat from September 27th –

October 1st. Pray that this time be a source of grace and renewed strength for each of them. During this time no appointments for this week can be scheduled in since Father Jorge will be attending the priest retreat. Thank you!

Catholic Charities Sunday The Annual Catholic Charities Appeal will take place on the weekend

of September 18-19. Your support of Catholic Charities’ programs translates into direct services to hundreds of individuals and families. Catholic Chari-ties’ staff have maintained support for seniors at home, application assistance for health insurance and CalFresh benefits, assistance to homeless veterans, legal services for immigrants, counseling and parenting support services, and financial support to COVID impacted families. Domingo de Caridades CatólicasLa Campaña Anual de Caridades Católicas se llevará a cabo el fin de

semana del 18 y 19 de septiembre. Su apoyo a los programas de Caridades Católicas se traduce en servicios directos a cientos de personas y familias. El personal de Caridades Católicas ha mantenido el apoyo para las personas mayores en el hogar, asistencia con la solicitud de seguro médico y beneficios de CalFresh, asistencia a los veteranos sin hogar, servicios legales para inmi-grantes, servicios de asesoramiento y apoyo para padres y apoyo financiero para las familias afectadas por COVID. Caridades Católicas ha apoyado a más de 22,000 personas en el 2020. Su contribución le dará a Caridades Católicas la capacidad de continuar su ministerio de alcance.

Formación de Fe – Transporte en AutobúsPara niños en formación de fe los lunes de 2:00 a 3:00 p.m. no habrá
