OPENING COLLECT ORACIÓN COLECTA
O God, who have called us
to participate in this most sacred Supper,
in which your Only Begotten Son,
when about to hand himself over to death,
entrusted to the Church a sacrifice
new for all eternity, the banquet of his love,
grant, we pray,
that we may draw from so great a mystery,
the fullness of charity and of life.

FIRST READING Exodus 12:1-8, 11-14 PRIMERA LECTURA
mientras golpeo a Egipto.

R/. Thanks be to God.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM SALMO RESPONSORIAL
Ps. 115/116: Our Blessing Cup/El Cáliz que Bendecimos
by Tony Alonso
SECOND READING 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 SEGUNDA LECTURA
Brothers and sisters: I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the
Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given
thanks, broke it and said,
“This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying,
“This cup is the new covenant in my blood.
Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup,
you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.
Palabra de Dios.
R/. Te alabamos, Señor.
GOSPEL ACCLAMATION ACLAMACIÓN DEL EVANGELIO
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless glory!
¡Alabanza a ti, O Cristo, Rey de eterna gloria!
GOSPEL John 13:1-15 EVANGELIO
respondió: “Si no te lavo, no podrás tener parte conmigo.”
Ustedes me llaman Maestro y
Yo les he dado
ejemplo, y ustedes deben hacer como he hecho yo.”

PREPARATION OF THE TABLE & GIFTS PREPARACIÓN DEL ALTAR Y DONES
Jesus, our teacher and our Lord, stooped to wash the feet of his disciples,
and he told them,
“This is an example; just as I have done, so you must do.”
OF THE TABLE AND GIFTS DEL ALTAR Y DONES
Pray brothers and sisters,
that my sacrifice and yours
may be acceptable to God,
the Almighty Father.
May the Lord accept the sacrifice
at your hands for the praise
and glory of his name,
for our good,
and the good of all his holy Church.
Oren, hermanos y hermanas,
para que este sacrificio, mío y vuestro,
sea agradable a Dios,
Padre todopoderoso.
El Señor reciba de tus manos
este sacrificio,
para alabanza y gloria
de su nombre, para nuestro bien
y el de toda su santa Iglesia.
PRAYER OVER THE GIFTS ORACIÓN SOBRE LAS OFRENDAS
Grant us, O Lord, we pray,
that we may participate worthily
in these mysteries,
for whenever the memorial
of this sacrifice is celebrated
the work of our redemption
is accomplished.
Concédenos, Señor,
Participar dignamente
The Lord be with you.
And with your spirit.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right and just.
El Señor este con ustedes.
Y con tu espíritu.
Levantemos el corazón.
Lo tenemos levantado hacia el Señor.
Demos gracias al Señor, nuestro Dios.
Es justo y necesario.
It is truly right and just,
our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere
to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father,
almighty and eternal God.
For he is the true and eternal Priest,
who instituted the pattern
of an everlasting sacrifice
and was the first to offer himself
as the saving Victim,
commanding us to make this offering
as his memorial.
As we eat his flesh
that was sacrificed for us,
we are made strong,
and, as we drink his Blood
that was poured out for us,
we are washed clean.
And so, with Angels and Archangels,
with Thrones and Dominions,
and with all the hosts
and Powers of heaven,
we sing the hymn of your glory,
as without end we acclaim:
En verdad es justo y necesario,
es nuestro deber y salvación,
darte gracias siempre y en todo lugar,
Señor Padre santo,
Dios todopoderoso y eterno,
por Cristo, Señor nuestro.
El cual,
verdadero y eterno sacerdote,
al instituir el sacrificio perdurable,
se ofreció a ti como víctima salvadora,
y nos mandó que lo ofreciéramos
como memorial suyo.
En efecto,
cuando comemos su carne,
inmolada por nosotros,
quedamos fortalecidos;
y cuando bebemos su Sangre,
derramada por nosotros,
quedamos limpios de nuestros pecados.
Por eso,
con los ángeles y los arcángeles
y con todos los coros celestiales,
cantamos sin cesar
el himno de tu gloria:

PROCESSION Pange Lingua PROCESIÓN
All are invited to remain in the Church
and pray in Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.
Please maintain silence on all the Church grounds during this solemn night.
We will sing Tantum Ergo
after the Blessed Sacrament is set on the Altar of Reposition.
Solemn Adoration will draw to a close with Night Prayer beginning at 11:00 p.m.
Pange, lingua, gloriosi Corporis mysterium,
Sanguinisque pretiosi, quem in mundi pretium fructus ventris generosi
Rex effudit Gentium.
Nobis datus, nobis natus ex intacta Virgine,
et in mundo conversatus, sparso verbi semine, sui moras incolatus miro clausit ordine.
In supremae nocte coenae recumbens cum fratribus
observata lege plene cibis in legalibus,
cibum turbae duodenae se dat suis manibus.
Verbum caro, panem verum verbo carnem efficit:
Tantum ergo Sacramentum
veneremur cernui: et antiquum documentum
novo cedat ritui: praestet fides supplementum
sensuum defectui.
Genitori, Genitoque laus et jubilatio,
salus, honor, virtus quoque sit et benedictio:
Procedenti ab utroque compar sit laudatio.
Sing, o tongue, the mystery of the glorious Body,
and of the precious Blood, which in the world the King,
the fruit of noble birth, poured out as the value of the nations.
Given to us, born to us, from untouched Virgin, and in the world kept company, had
scattered the seed of the word, his own delay of exile,
concluded in wondrous order.
In the most supreme night at dinner, reclining with brothers, to observe the fullness of the
law, a meal in accordance with the laws, food of the multitude of the twelve, he gave himself
into their own hands.
Precious word, true bread, word made flesh:
and made of the blood of Christ alone, and if the senses
failed, to the sincere heart made strong,
faith alone supplied.
So great therefore a Sacrament, let us venerate with faces to the ground:
and let the ancient instruction give way to a new rite: let
faith furnish the supplement when the senses fail.
To the Begetter and the Begotten be praise and
jubilation, health, honor, power, and likewise blessing: to the one proceeding from
both be equal praise.
Tan gran Sacramento, veneremos, pues, inclinados; y
