Amen Schedule in St. Mary of the Rosary Church during Lent: Mass each weekday 8am & 11am Morning Prayer @ 10am Exposition & Stations of the Cross each weekday @ 5pm (Due to the current restrictions please join via the Parish Radio/Webcam) A carving to the left of the tabernacle in St Mary of the Rosary of Abraham and Isaac which is today’s reading from the Book of Genesis Announcing an Exciting New Journey for St John the Baptist Church St. John the Baptist church opened in 1970 to meet the needs at that time. Fifty years later we face new challenges. We are planning for the future by presenting an exciting new initiative. As our parish evolves, so too does the use of St. John the Baptist church. We hope to make St. John the Baptist church a place for gatherings, namely for Mass, Sacraments, Personal/Group Prayer and a space for large groups. This includes our younger parishioners preparing for the Sacraments of Communion for the First Time and Confirmation, as well as Youth Ministries. The plan can be examined at the rear of St. Mary of the Rosary and on the Parish website. We know that this will be the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the life of our beloved church! Nenagh Country Markets Reopening Nenagh Country Markets Ltd will re-open on Friday 5th March next in the New Institute, Friar Street from 8am, under Level 5 Restrictions which allow markets that, wholly or principally offer food for sale to remain open. Safety measures include a one way system with a separate entrance and exit, hand sanitizer on entry and exit and restricted numbers of customers on the premises at the same time. We encourage you to shop local at this time and drop into our market for the freshest of locally produced food in a safe, controlled environment. Fr Seán McDonagh Book Launch Fr Seán’s new book, Robots, Ethics and the Future of Jobs, will be launched Thursday 4 March at 7pm by Professor John Sweeney and Dr Lorna Gold. To join the launch on Zoom just email https://www.messenger.ie/prod- uct/robots-ethics-and-the-future-of-jobs/ and wait for the invitation to enter the room!
