MASTER BEDROOM: DENISE MORRISON

We aim to keep things authentic and functional, but you can always expect an unexpected moment; that place where you pause and admire the cleverness of a detail. We also like to blur the lines between eras and always embrace the evolved feel of a collected and not decorated home.

It’s not often that you get asked to design a room with no budget or style restrictions, so creating a beautiful space using our favorite vendors made this especially enjoyable. We are big believers in texture and earthy tones and feel they complement the layered art and round edges just right.

Master Bedroom 1:

Decorative pillow - Aesthetic Movement: minna-goods-angle-pillow-lumbar-coffeeMinna makes the most beautiful products in their small but perfectly edited collection. We love their sustainable options and in particular the earthy softness in this pattern against the bold patterned wallpaper.

Throw - Loloi Rugs: t3011-ed-naturalThis throw seems to weave its way into all our designs. The quality far exceeds the price and it has a lovely texture making it an easy add to all rooms.

Bedding – Pom Pom at HOME: louwie-flaxPom Pom linens are so soft and one of our favorite options for bedding. We love the crispness of white bedding.

Art - Four Hands: Antique Bird by visual contrast The graphic nature of this piece and bird imagery seem both on trend and timeless. We selected this piece as a perfect layering moment in front of the mirrors as well as that pop of yellow.

Basket – Blue Ocean Traders: Baskets/EUR812_Grape-BasketWe love this basket for its texture and functionality. We see it filled with extra throws or books.

Wallpaper - Tempaper: swell-black-vintage-removable-wallpaperTempaper could not be any more clever, allowing a bold wallpaper moment without a big commitment. We love how this graphic black and white pattern juxtaposes against some of the more organic selections.

Side Table - Noir: categories/406004/new-items/products/aw-22/moriarty-side-tableWe like the fluid shape of this table and particularly its natural wood tone. It balances perfectly next to the geometric shapes of the chair and the black detailing.

Bed - Alder & Tweed Furniture: everette-king-bedWe really like the traditional shape of this bed against the modern wallpaper. And the wood tone next to the black nightstands was key.

Bench - Four Hands: product/CASH-21004-614?cid=226We always look to introduce different finish elements in our designs and adding a little iron seemed perfect given all the other wood elements. Every bedroom can benefit from a bench for changing shoes, stacking books, or

placing unused pillows while sleeping.

Mirror - Global Views: grouped-gabriel-mirror-black-12188We adore the shape of these mirrors with their bold black frame. They also can be used the opposite direction which makes them really versatile.

Lounge chair - Four Hands: product/CKEN-340I-859P?cid=225For both comfort and style, we love this lounge chair. Caning and the black accents make this a very on trend selection. Added bonus: the open space at the bottom has beautiful detailing as well.

Master Bedroom 2:

Throw - Aesthetic Movement: blankets-throws/products/green-abstract-throwThis is one of our very favorite throws. It is so soft, sustainably made, and has the most darling pattern. We have sold out of it twice on our House of Morrison website.

collection is fantastic and the price for the quality is phenomenal!

Lamp - Arteriors: /lighting/new-lightingThe round edges of this lamp complement the other selections so beautifully in this design. We also wanted a strong accent which this black selection offered.

Rug - Loloi Rugs: /od-01-natural-ashThis rug is so subtle yet adds so much warmth to the design. A little patterning but not so much as to be overwhelming.

nightstands, yes!

Nightstand - Four Hands: product/IHRM-214?cid=229The strong shapes of these side tables really appealed to us and was something we looked for throughout our selections. We also love the Demilune shape, so unique!

Console - Four Hands: product/UWES-246?cid=309This piece is absolutely stunning! Made of Aguanacaste wood, each piece is unique and the warmth of the wood in the design was key to this selection. It also offers great storage!
