This disposable, volumetric sampling device takes soil samples with minimal handling and maximum accuracy!With its patented technology, it is the only sampling device on the market used for collection, storage and transfer of 5 gram or 25 gram VOC soil samples to meet ASTM standard D4547-98, plus it has been accepted by the EPA for sampling VOC’s using EPA Method 5035. Ideal for sampling VOC’s for tank removal, remediation clean-up, etc., the En Core Sampler is extremely easy to use. Simply attach the re-usable T-Handle to a single-use sampler, lock it in place, and push the sampler into the soil until the coring body is completely full. Then, remove the sampler wiping any excess soil from the coring body and cap it while it is still on the T-Handle. Once capped, remove the sampler from the T-Handle, attach the included circular label from the En Core Sampler bag to the cap on the coring body, return the full En Core Sampler to the zipper bag, seal it, and put the bag on ice for transportation to the lab. There is no need for field preservation using chemicals, and most importantly, the En Core Sampler avoids many sources for lab discrepancies assuring a more consistent and accurate analyses. The En Core Sampler is effective for

storage of soil for up to 48 hours. Two sampler sizes are available for your sampling needs: a 5 gram or a 25 gram. T-Handle is sold separately.

AMS Soil Gas Vapor Probe (SGVP)3212

Sample soil vapors and shallow groundwater easily and accurately!Widely used around pipelines and underground storage tanks (UST’s). The SGVP drive tubes are removed, leaving the vapor probe tip imbedded at the desired location and sampling depth. A Teflon® vapor tube running from the tip to the surface makes continuous sampling a quick and easy process. The outside diameter of the vapor probe tip is larger than the diameter of the drive tubes, enabling the probe to be inserted easily. The SGVP tip is machined so that the vapor inlet holes are recessed in the tip. Just above the vapor inlet holes is a machined flange. A dead air space is created with the vapor inlet holes recessed below the flange and just above the base. A Teflon umbrella can be attached to the vapor probe tip just above the flange. The umbrella is then folded and is inserted to the desired depth and the drive tubes are removed causing the Teflon umbrella to unfold. This prevents any dirt from falling in and around the vapor tip and prevents plugging of the vapor inlet holes. The Teflon tube is attached to the SGVP tip by pushing the tube over a barbed tang. The Teflon vapor tube is threaded through the drive tubes and into the drive head which is then attached to the AMS up-and-down hammer attachment or a rotary hammer drill. The retract-a-tip SGVP can be driven into the soil to a pre-determined depth,

opened, and a vapor sample extracted. The tip can then be closed and driven to a greater depth, re-opened, and another sample taken. Tip can be removed from ground and can be decontaminated after sample is taken.

Three styles to choose from – regular chrome molybdenum steel, chrome-plated chrome molybdenum steel, or stainless steel. Chrome-plated chrome molybdenum probes are more rust-resistant than regular probes. Stainless steel probes are the most durable, rust-resistant, and are easily decontaminated. All probes have 7/8˝ outside diameter and heat-treated, wear-resistant bit. Swedged on the bit end and bored to 11/16˝ diameter – providing ideal clearance for easy sample removal.
