MASTER MASERATI TECHNICAL RUNDOWN
All the Master Maserati driving courses take place at the Varano de’
Melegari race track, located about 20 Km from the Italian city of Par-
ma; a track that is also used for car races which combines excellent
technical characteristics with highly specific and professional structures
for driving instruction with maximum safety.
Specific driving teaching facilities: exclusive use of Circuit, are-
as specially equipped for training exercises, data acquisition systems on
board for detailed personalised telemetry data, electronic timing to
record each driver’s performance, theory classroom with computerised
image transmission.
Instructors: A staff made up of 11 professional driving instructors,
all from the world of racing, come to share their competitive experien-
ces gained through their extensive instructor experience with GT cars.
Vehicles: GranTurismo S, Quattroporte S,
Quattroporte Sport GT S (13 cars in total).
The Master Maserati Driving Courses offer you the chance to
learn how to drive exclusive high-performance cars with the
same kind of confidence and gusto as a professional driver.
The relationship between man and machine makes all the
difference when it comes to road safety. Maserati has always
focused on dynamic handling in the development of its cars
and is equally attentive to the needs of its existing and future
customers. Maserati’s aim with these courses is to achieve an
absolutely fluid relationship between driver and car and to
add that extra flourish of professionalism to the driving style
of even its most expert clients.
The result is the Master Maserati range of courses which take
place on the highly technical Varano de’ Melegari track, si-
tuated near the delightful town of Parma. The courses offer
instruction in safe sporty driving. Participants do their trai-
ning at the wheel of various Maserati models under the
watchful eye of former professional F1, Rally, DTM and Indy
drivers who are also expert instructors. The courses are care-
fully structured to guarantee participants the chance to expe-
rience the true performance of the various models in comple-
te safety, both in the track sessions and emergency situation
simulations.

Participants: 24 per course, divided into 3 or 4 groups of 6 to 8
participants each.
Course length: 1 day at the Autodrome (approx. 8.30-18.00).
The Master Warm-Up driving course marks the initiation
phase for entry to the dynamic Maserati programme, open
to both actual and potential clients of the Brand who wish
to improve or perfect their driving technique at the wheel of
Maserati range models.
The course is structured to ensure an excellent approach to
the right driving technique for high-performance cars, the
ideal combination with the unique driving quality and plea-
sure delivered by Maserati products. Master Warm-Up is the
optimal start to the programme tailored for Maserati enthu-
siasts, who can access the various levels of the Brand’s
Course to become outstanding drivers, ensuring that they
fully appreciate and enjoy all the technology and performan-
ces of the models in its range. The Warm- Up Course is or-
ganised to offer an educational process supported by the
experience and skill of a special staff whose aim is to impro-
ve participants’ personal driving characteristics in a context
enjoyable and challenging for all.

Open both to aspiring and existing Maserati customers,
Master GT Maserati is the driving course organised by
Maserati S.p.A. that is oriented towards the GranTurismo
as well as safe and sporty driving techniques.
The Master GT courses offer a specific program where the
instruction and the dynamics of the course can be persona-
lised to the participant’s specific needs and expectations.
The activities and models used during the course can there-
fore be personalised based on the desires of the partici-
pants.
The perfectly balanced, well proven programme is taught by
instructors highly skilled in teaching the right techniques for
driving high-performance cars, with the aim of ensuring the
unrivalled driving pleasure that comes from the combination
of sophisticated technique, the thrills on offer from the ama-
zing Maserati models and applied technologies at the state-
of-the-art for driving courses.

The Master HP Maserati represents the maximum evolution
of the Granturismo driving technique concepts developed
during the previous GT program.
The course, designed to offer a highly professional and tech-
nically advanced service, provides the unique opportunity to
master the world of Maserati GranTurismo, testing high per-
formance Maserati models on the Varano de’ Melegari track,
through a highly personalised and specialised program that
combines driver satisfaction and technique. The programme
includes advanced high-speed driving concepts and techni-
cally more complex, challenging driving exercises.
The Master Maserati team of instructors have developed a
specific program where the instruction and the dynamics of
the course can be personalised to the participant’s specific
needs and expectations. The examination of the technical
aspects of the course will be done through an intensive and
professional use of telemetry for in-depth analysis, based on
driving sessions of increasing duration.

The Maserati MC Trofeo Master brings the concepts of ra-
cing driving developed during the previous High Performance
programme to new levels. The course, designed to provide a
thrilling, unforgettable experience with an extremely profes-
sional service covering the latest techniques, allows partici-
pants to enter the heart of the Maserati competitive driving
world by getting to grips with the racing cars that compete in
the Trofeo Championship on the Varano de’ Melegari track.
Suitable dynamic training is an essential requirement for aspi-
ring Master MC Trofeo pupils. The programme involves the
intensive use of racing models, with a sequence of contents
tailored to improve driving performance.
Pupils: 12 per course
Instructors: a staff of 6 instructor-drivers with unrivalled ra-
cing and teaching experience on GT racing cars.

Insurance: Maximum insurance coverage, undersigned automati-
cally on enrolment, is estimated at € 516.457 for each participant.
Clothing: Sportswear is recommended for the track activities (in
particular shoes suitable for driving). There is no dress code for

TO THE CIRCUIT AT VARANO DE’ MELEGARI:
From Milan: Take the A1 motorway in the direction of Bologna.
Take the A15 (Parma-La Spezia) motorway (around 101km down the
A1).
From Turin: Take the A21 (Turin-Piacenza) motorway. At Piacenza
continue towards the Auto Sole in the direction of Bologna until the
entrance to the La Spezia motorway. Take the Motorway A15 Parma-
La Spezia.
From Bologna: Take the Motorway A1 in the direction of Milan.
Having passed the Parma toll booth, after 8.5 km take the link road
that leads to the A15 (Parma-La Spezia) motorway.
From Rome: Take the Roma-Bologna motorway. Continue on the
A1 in the direction of Milan. Continue past Modena, Reggio Emilia
and Parma. Take the slip road for the A15 PARMA-LA SPEZIA and exit
at FORNOVO.
From all directions: exit at Fornovo. After the tool booth turn
left, following indications for “Varano de’ Melegari”. Continue on
this road for round 7 km. On the left is the bridge that leads to the
entrance to the circuit.

From the A1 motorway, take the A15 (Parma-La Spezia) in the direc-
tion of La Spezia. Exit at Parma Ovest, turn right in the direction of
Parma, then go straight for about 4 km.
