What your child knows, or does not know, should not come as a surprise to you at report card and conference time (be sure to sign up for conferences).

Everything we do is based on an activity, not a handout.

Incorrect/incomplete responses will be circled.

Reflection, not perfection, is the goal.

S.P.O.T. Charts:Students earn “spots” for being noticed

using a habitS.P.O.T. Charts stay in the green folder.

any behavioral reminders or if they’ve been asked to self-monitor

Students fill in yellow if they have been reminded to make a match

Plan for Success -Communication about behavior.

-It is used when a student has been asked to self-monitor, make-a-match, make a plan, and the behavior has continued.

-Must be signed and returned to school the next day.

Volunteers are needed in so many ways!(both within and outside of our classroom)

If you are interested, please look at all of the options on the green form and return it at your convenience. If you’d like to sign up to be our Math Pentathlon volunteer/teacher or our Art Smart volunteer, there is a sign up in the back of the classroom.
