MASTER PLAN GOALS • Expand enrollment capacity to 490 students in accordance with the Generic Educational Specifications for Elementary Schools, dated

March 2013. This would be accomplished through a renovation of the existing landmarked historic building, as well as a new multistory addition.

• 21st century educational facility that will serve the District and the McGilvra community for over 50 years.

• New addition that is in context with landmark historic facility.

• Ultimate thorough modernization and integration of building systems, providing a road map to coordinate current planned BEXIV and BTA III seismic, mechanical and electrical upgrades with a future more comprehensive facility renovation.

• Consider impact of the future masterplan addition on planning, design and construction of current BEXIII cafeteria addition.

• Sustainability
