Prepares a unique graduate who possesses a strong clinical foundaon, leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of teaching and learning. This track requires clinical and edu- caonal pracce. Develop nursing leaders with expert knowledge of com- plex health problems who will lead and or improve nursing pracce in Worcester, the Commonwealth, and beyond. The purpose: The Masters Nurse Ed- ucator Track at the Uni- versity of Massachu- ses Worcester is to prepare graduates in faculty and staff devel- opment roles. The cur- riculum is designed to educate students to improve and transform health care through systems leadership, re- search translaon, and advanced clinical knowledge. Graduates are prepared to as- sume leadership roles in hospitals and com- munity-based sengs, health care organiza- ons, and schools of nursing as clinical fac- ulty. Objectives for the Nurse Educator Track

Provides an opportunity to acquire teaching skills and

strategies that address student, program and patient out-

comes as well as leadership skills to improve health care.

Prepares a unique graduate who possesses a strong clinical

foundation, leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of

teaching and learning. This track requires clinical and edu-

cational practice.
