Preparation before installation1) Log in with administrator authority.
2) Microsoft Excel 2003 or higher should be installed beforehand.
3) Uninstall the previous version of Mold EX-Press.
4) In case of Mold EX-Press with Ver.2 x or previous virsion,uninatall the older version.
5) Change setting : Control Panel>User Account>Change Setting of User Account, then Change UAC by clicking“Not to inform”(lowest colomn) and restart PC.
6) At the time of installation, Confirm your PC if HDD capacity is acceptable for receiving memories ofMold EX-Press.

Click start button and open Control panel.
Open User Account. Select User Account Chenge.
Set the lowest colomn “Not to inform” and Click OK.

Select Uninstall program for CAD one by one.
Click Start button and open the folder of MISUMI where Mold EX-Press program is located.
Lastly select Uninstall for basic program.
Uninstallation via Control Panel is also available. Select Mold EX-Press and run Uninstall.

A2. When you can not re-install if you stopped installation
In case installation stopped,you need to delete “Environment Variables” in following steps.*This operation is not available for Windows XP.

Go to NX folder [menus], and find [custom_dirs.dat]file, then open the text format.(Pass: ugii\menus\custom_dirs.dat)
A3. Shortcut to Mold EX-Press is not created in your NX tool bar
Once Mold EX-Press is installed successfully shortcut is created automatically in the tool bar of NX. However if other add-in softwares (ex; ET2008) are installed ahead the new shortcut may sometimes not appear. The following method is to allow the softwares in compatible use.

Copy the current value of [Misumi_Path_GML]from Enviroment Variables in AdvancedSystem Properties.[C:\Program Files\MISUMI\MEX_M_G]
Paste the current path of Mold EX-press (taken in 2) to the very bottom line. Save and exit.
When you will open NX, you will find short cut of Mold EX-Press as per following.
In case of NX9.0 or upper version, you will find default in the tool bar [Menu], as per right figure.

Both softwares can be installed on a PC and go together so that two MEX names appear as shown in right.

A4. Shortcut to Mold EX-Press is not created in your SolidWorks tool bar
Once Mold EX-Press is installed successfully shortcut is created automatically in the tool bar of SolidWorks. However if it does not appear please try the following solution.

In [Command prompt], login ”msmGMLCatiaFuns.exe msmGMLAttrltemReader.exe” Example:[File source record \msmGMLCatiaFuns.exe]/regserver.
A5. After complete the install, you may not use Mold EX-Press in CATIA
Exe file may not be created. You can install exe file again in following operations when you failed to use Mold EX-Press in CATIA after initial installation.

By using same folder to install Mold EX-Press, please find msmGMLCatiaFuns.exe and click the right mouse button and logon as an administrator.
33Click [Start]botton, open [Accessory ]and select [Command prompt], then click the right mouse button and logon as an administrator.
[Key point] Exe filre is at CatiaMSM folder.Check [CatiaMSM] and confirm the pass.

Go to the bin folder at the installation path of Pro/E and find a file [Protk.dat] which was generated automatically during software installation.
A6. Shortcut to Mold EX-Press is not created in your Pro/E tool bar
Once Mold EX-Press is installed successfully shortcut is created automatically in the tool bar of Pro/E. However if it does not appear please try the following solution.*This operation needs before Pro/E rebooting.

Attach [protk.dat] folder provided from Step ② in to[Working folder]」. Then, reboot Pro/E for operation.
Click the right mouse button in Pro/E program shortcut, then open [Property option] and select the pass in [Working folders] to reach your required folder.
When you will open Pro/E, you will find short cut of Mold EX-Press as per following .55

Click [Tool] on Creo and click the right mouse button on [MEX(Mold)].
Go to drop-down menu of Mold EX-Press by using shortcut tool bar.

Click [Add] in Startup Suite. The [List of applications] interface will appear.
Open [Tool] of AutoCAD tool bar and select [Load application] so that a new window opens as shown in the right.Click [Contents] in Startup Suite.
Select "MsmControllerMold_GML.arx" program in [Add File to Startup Suite] pop-up. This path will be the installation directory of Mold EX-Press.
Click [Add], MsmController GML.arx will appear in [Startup Suite] as seen in the image shown in the right.
Then click [Close] to finish the step.
A8. Mold EX-Press is unresponsive in AutoCAD
After the installation is complete, the menu as well as the tool bar will appear. If there is no response after clicking them, just proceed with the next methods. After first manual loading, they will appear automatically.
