!  The  average  person  can  take  in  four  numbers  or  words  at  a  time,  can  concentrate  on  revision  for  a  maximum  of  45  minutes  at  a  time  and  remembers  information  best  shortly  before  bedtime.  

Chunking  is  breaking  up  a  big  piece  of   information  into  smaller  chunks  like  steps

in  a  ladder.  Bullet  points  are  best!           !!!!

Body  management  for the  big  day!

DO DON’T

Go  to  bed  at  a  reasonable  time  and  set  your  alarm  a  bit  earlier  than  usual.  Avoid  panic  and  stress.  !!Go  for  SLOW  BURN  foods  on  the  morning  of  the  exam  to  give  you  energy  throughout  the  exam  paper  (boiled  egg,  toast  in  the  morning  and  banana  on  the  way  in)  

Stay  up  trying  to  do  3  months  of  revision  in  one  night.  You  will  be  too  tired  and  your  brain  will  not  work  when  you  sit  the  exam.  !Go  for  high  sugar  cereal  or  chocolate  before  the  exam  –  the  crash  will  hit  when  you  are  in  there!  !Drink  energy  drinks  or  coke
