Location: James Cook University (JCU), Cairns Campus and Lake Eacham, Atherton Tablelands. Lake Eacham is an extinct volcanic crater lake, filled with crystal clear water, surrounded by 1200 acres of lush tropical highland rainforest.

Program: 19 September - 26 September 2012

• Wednesday 19 September: Transport from Cairns Airport to accommodation at Paradise Palms Resort. Afternoon briefing by Jürgen Freund. Dinner at Paradise Palms Resort.

• Thursday 20 - Monday 24 September: 7.30am check-out and travel to the Atherton Tablelands, staying at Chambers Wildlife Rainforest Lodge. Embark on a five-day field-trip workshop, exploring and capturing the diverse and breathtaking beauty of Lake Eacham and its surrounds.

• Tuesday 25 September: 10.00am check-out and travel to Cairns, stopping for a picnic lunch and photo shoot at the beautiful Babinda Boulders. Check-in to Paradise Palms Resort by mid afternoon.

• Wednesday 26 September: 8:30am check-out and travel to JCU campus. 9:00am-12:00pm final participant seminars with Jürgen Freund. 12pm transport to Cairns Airport.

• All tuition on both the JCU Cairns campus and in the field

• Transport to the field trip site and return to JCU Cairns campus

• Accommodation for seven (7) nights

• A certificate of completion.Necessary to bring:

• Your own SLR camera, all the lenses you have and a cable release

• A good tripod is a must with a proper ballhead

• Laptop is essential with Adobe Photoshop CS 4, 5 or 6 (not Photoshop Elements) and Adobe Lightroom 4.1. If not available, download Photoshop and Lightroom 30-day free trial version before arrival in Cairns.*

Following registration, should you find you are unable to attend this event and we have received a written notification of your cancellation no later than Friday 14 September, a refund of the fee, less an administration charge of 5%, will be made.
