Twitter Explained: Vocabulary

!  tweet (noun): A message posted via Twitter containing 140 characters or less.

!  tweet, tweeting, tweeted (verb): Posting a message via Twitter.

!  @username (noun): Always preceded by the @ symbol

!  # (noun): Any word or phrase immediately proceeded by the # symbol.

!  follow (verb): Subscribing to a particular Twitter feed is call following. Anyone can follow or unfollow anyone else at any time.
