1. Articulated base (160x160) Hot dip galvanized steel articulated base. It enables fixing the mast bottom segment in the foundation. It moves in two directions and facilitates the plumbing of masts.

2. Bottom segment 4.0m The mast kerb is made of φ 35 aluminium pipe with 2.7 mm thick wall. Truss is made of aluminium profile 20 x 10 with 2.0 thick wall. Access spokes are made of aluminium profile 30 x 30 with 0.9 mm wall. Seg-ments are joined with 3 bolts M8 x 110. Each of them comes with 3 guy plates in the upper section of the mast for fastening ropes.

3. Top segment 4,0m The mast kerb is made of φ 35 aluminium pipe with 2.0 mm thick wall. Truss is made of aluminium profile 20 x 10 with 2.0 thick wall. OLAN module towers have been designed in order to meet all functional requirements and facilitate the workmanship and erection. Each tower is a non-planar structure where the cross section is an equilateral triangle. It narrows towards the top forming an elongated pyramid. All construction elements are made of hot dip galvanized construction steel and are up to 6 m long which facilitates the transportation and erection. Thanks to the zinc layer the life of the structure in terms of corrosion is practically unlimited. The erection of the tower consists in bolting the manufactured and galvanized highly-resistant elements together with bolts on the previously prepared foundation. No welding takes place during the assembly process as it would disturb the galvanized surface.

OLAN module towers are used for mounting devices at any height on work platforms designed for each type of tower at levels depicted in the specification of each tower. It is possible to place a work platform at any level individually specified and adjusted to user’s needs. Generally, each platform has a total area of 5m2 and its load capacity reaches 30kg, but it is possible to meet requirements exceeding the quoted limits. The permissible load of the work platform amounts to 2 KN/m2. It is possible to place maximally 315kg load on the top work platform, including the weight of people operating it. Any increase in the load requires manufacturer’s consent.

The bracket designed for mounting devices should be selected on a case-by-case basis. OLAN has in its offer the brackets described in the first part of the catalogue and is ready to provide professional assistance in selecting the most appropriate components for mounting a certain device.

The weight of towers quoted in the tables comprise the weight of the structure, anchor, ladder, work platforms and connection elements. The weight of reinforcing steel necessary for preparing the foundation bases is not included. The foundation requires an individual approach when designing it, depending on the bearing capacity of the ground where the tower is erected. Geological land surveying is inevitable to design the foundation base properly. If instructed to do so by the client, OLAN prepares a construction design in compliance with the local land development plan which is the basis for receiving a permit for erecting the tower from the relevant office.
