Our mission: Based on the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church, in partnership with the family and parish community, Mater Dei Catholic School will provide each child the opportunity to reach his or her potential and to develop the academic, technological and social skills necessary to become a lifelong learner who serves God in our community and the world.
A Message from Mrs. Hillebert:
On March 11th, "spring forward" time change begins. This Spring Daylight Savings Time may bring much happiness for longer hours of daylight, but it may also cause havoc on sleep patterns of children. The abrupt loss of an hour can be a shock to the body.
Lessen the shock by slowly modifying your child's sleep schedule beginning a week or two before the time "springs forward". Go to bed 10 minutes earlier and wake up 10 minutes earlier.
Remember, the time change is not the only thing to disrupt your child's sleep patterns; the longer daylight hours will make it difficult for some to fall asleep. Consider darkening the room.
Remember: Gradual changes

Irish Fest Volunteers Needed!
Mater Dei Parish relies exclusively on volunteer help to
pull this event off. This is a major fundraiser for Mater
Dei Parish and is essential in funding our needs. Like
last year, our event is substantially larger than in the
early years. Your help is much-needed. Please consid-
er this generous gift of your time and talent to make this
day a huge success for our parish. Help is needed for
setup, execution and cleanup. Shifts will be available
from 5:00 am through 7:00 pm. To volunteer please
contact Kelly Eakes at 233-3354 or materdeiirish-
[email protected]. Thank you
Lenten Reconciliation
Lenten Reconciliation Services on Wednesdays
(February 21st to March 28th) from 6:00-7:00 pm
at Mater Dei Holy Name Church.
Please take advantage of this opportunity to make
a good Lenten confession. Please reach out to the
Catholics you know that have been away from the
regular practice of our faith and invite them to
seize this chance to begin again.
Regional Reconciliation Service will be March 15th
at 7:00 pm at MDHN Church. (School Penance Service will be held earlier in the day.) Experience God’s embrace. Take part of the sacrament of reconciliation.
