Mathematics

Review math concepts, write a procedure for solving a math problem or puzzle, research some facts about math, and report the information in a newsletter.

Microsoft Word, Newsletter Template

Each student writes a math newsletter that contains material relating to what he or she has studied in math class. The topics of the articles include facts about math, a math problem or puzzle, a biography of a mathematician, or a personal anecdote relating to math.

Presenting this information as a newsletter provides a professional format for displaying the information. The students creatively design the format and determine the content. The newsletters are distributed to the entire student body.
