Calculate mean, median, mode and range Scatter graph

Students need to; Ensure they have completed all the homework set and understand the topics. Know the times tables up to 12x12, saying them in the form 1x7=7, 2x7=14 … Use the Glossary sheets to know the meaning of the words identified. Use Myimaths.co.uk to study and practice. Login ’alarqam’ and password

‘arqam’ Revise from their ‘copy’ books and the text books ‘ Maths Complete’ 2R See Ms Asiya or Ms Jennifer or family members with any problems

Note: Scientific research marks will be included in the assessment for the term- the

final scientific research after editing may be handed in by 17th of March Revision practice sheets for shapes and algebra lesson 5 already given(will not

be given again) Revision practice sheets for other topics will be given (students must revise

from copy book and text books also) Test papers will be corrected and handed to students- students should go

over their mistakes and practice more on those topics

Exams Advice : Please use your class practical experience and knowledge for the topics covered above to revise for the exams. Ask our teacher, parents and friends if there are any areas you are not sure about. Remember your math’s equipment; pen, pencil, rubber, ruler, protractor, compass and calculator IF allowed.Read the questions carefully, show your workings out, remember the units, check that your answer is of the correct order of size or makes sense. Try and answer all questions even if you need to miss some out temporarily. Don’t waste too much time on one question. The report will include: Grades for the learning objective above; Very Good / Good / Satisfactory/ Needs Improvement. 50% Exam as mentioned above,30% Assessments for this term based on the learning objectives, 5% Attendance,5% Class work- standard of work, participation, team work, cooperation. 10% Homework- which 2 or 3 times per week. With teacher comments there are also grades on for Effort, Presentation, and Behavior.

Students were tested to determine their levels, using SATs papers and they will have a further test in the middle of term 3. Practice can be done for this using the website emaths – KS3 – maths 5-7 papers and mental tests A or B only.
