The Great Commission

Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All

authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to

observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:16-20

THE BREAD BASKET

All who are hungry for food of the body or of the spirit are invited for a free lunch in Route 45 Cafe so that we can build community

relationships and share the love of Christ with the people who join us.

We currently serve on the first Saturday of each month

from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PMin Route 45 on the church campus.

We are building relationships with people in our community that need a place to come to enjoy a meal with others and

feel safe, cared for and shown the love of Christ.

We have many regulars each month but we also get new comers each month. Children are welcome and we have crayons, coloring sheets and games for them. We have clothing items, bath kits and blankets for their needs.

We also make sure they are provided a copy of the Gospel message.

WINTER NIGHTS

Sheltering is a joint effort of Brunswick County Streetreach, a faith-based organization and area

churches to meet the needs of the hungry and homeless.

In December, 2018 BRBC partnered with Donna Phelps and Streetreach to help in the

ministry Winter Nights. We minister to individuals and families in need of shelter and food during the winter months. It is a way to invest in the

community and show people in need the love of Jesus Christ.

We will be housing and feeding families again

February 9-15, 2020

Other churches in Southport take other weeks.

We will provide you a shoebox to pack for

a boy or girl. Watch for them in

October!
