MEET THE CHEFS MATTHIAS WOERNLEIN EXECUTIVE CHEF, BALL ARENA Chef Mahias leads all culinary operations, including local eats, premium and catering at Ball Arena. Before starting at Ball Arena, Chef Mahias was the Executive Chef for Banquets at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, where he was responsible for all culinary operations of the 517,000 sq. ſt. event & convention space. Prior to his time in Colorado, he was the Executive Banquet Chef at the Fontainebleau Hotel & Resort located in Miami Beach, where he was also previously the Chef de Cuisine Garde Manger & Senior Sous Chef Garde Manger. GUNNAR STEDEN EXECUTIVE CHEF, DICK’S SPORTING GOODS PARK Chef Gunnar leads all culinary operations at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. Aſter moving to Colorado in September to assist in transitioning Ball Arena as Legends took over operations, Chef Gunnar became the Executive Chef at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park early in 2020. Prior to that, Chef Gunnar joined Legends in 2016 as an Executive Sous Chef for One World Observatory in New York City, and was later promoted to Executive Chef. During his time at OWO, he was awarded Legends’ Chef of The Year in 2018 for Outstanding Culinary Accomplishments.
