Dunlomat ®

Dunlomat rubber matting has been specifically designed by Dunlop engineers for a wide variety of industrial and agricultural uses including stall and stable flooring as well as equine/livestock transportation. The premier grade wear resistant rubber covers have an easy to clean anti-slip ‘Fabric print’ on one side and a ‘Rufftop profile’ on the reverse side to provide comfort and excellent drainage capacity. The rubber covers are reinforced by an extremely strong yet flexible carcass of polyester and nylon to provide strength and durability. Dunlomat is available in both 10mm (in various widths between 1000mm and 2000mm) and 6mm (2000mm width) thicknesses. Supplied in seamless rolls up to 200 meters in length, it is resistant to animal waste, high-pressure washing, cleaning and disinfecting agents.

Dunlomat is manufactured exclusively by Dunlop, here in the Netherlands. Laboratory tests have shown that our rubber provides up to three times longer wear life compared to imported matting. Dunlosheet ®

Dunlosheet is an extremely strong and hardwearing 3.5mm thick tear-resistant rubber sheet with a polyester and nylon fabric core ply. Originally developed for use as a cover for livestock bedding mattresses, Dunlosheet has since proved to be ideal for many other protection, screening, anti-slip and anti-static applications across a wide cross section of industries.

Supplied in 2000mm wide seamless rolls of 100 or 200 meters, Dunlosheet is made exclusively by us here in the Netherlands. It has a ‘Fabric print’ on the top cover, which helps to prevent slippage, and a smooth bottom cover surface. It is resistant to animal waste, high-pressure washing, cleaning and disinfecting agents, making it easy to maintain.

OZONE & UV RESISTANCEUnlike the vast majority of our competitor’s rubber matting and sheeting, (especially products originating from the Far East) Dunlomat and Dunlosheet are fully resistant to ozone and ultraviolet according to EN/ISO 1431 testing. At ground level, ozone is a pollutant. It increases the acidity of carbon black surfaces and causes reactions to take place within the molecular structure of the rubber. The consequences include surface cracking (allowing moisture and small particles to penetrate) and a decrease in the tensile strength of the rubber.

Ultraviolet light from sunlight and fluorescent lighting accelerates the deterioration of rubber because it produces photochemical reactions that promote the oxidation of the surface of the rubber. This results in a loss in mechanical strength creating a tendency to tear and rip much too easily. Its resistance to the effects of ozone and ultra-violet is yet another reason why genuine Dunlop “Made in Holland” products last so much longer.

SAFE FOR HUMANS, LIVESTOCK AND THE ENVIRONMENTThe safety of our employees, our customers, animals and the environment is of paramount importance to us. Most rubber matting is imported into the market from the Far East. This even applies to matting and sheeting from many European-based 'manufacturers' and dealers. Potentially hazardous chemicals such as short-chlorinated paraffin’s are used to accelerate the vulcanisation process, thereby reducing production costs and creating an apparent price saving.

The strict European REACH regulations governing the use of such chemicals are stringently controlled by ECHA (European Chemical Agency) headquarters in Helsinki. Although the regulations apply to imported goods that are manufactured outside of Europe there is no active check or control. Supporting documents claiming compliance to REACH should be regarded as dubious. Genuine "Made in Holland" Dunlomat and Dunlosheet is safe for humans to handle and safe for the livestock that come into contact with it.
