Mauritania is a country in Africa that has three distinct geographic regions. The area of Mauritania is slightly larger than three times the size of New Mexico. Some of the natural resources are fish, iron ore, gypsum, copper, and phosphate.

The reason that we chose to go here is because we were researching places in Africa and this seemed to be one of the most down to earth, least high-tech places. We thought it would be cool to see a culture less fortunate than us.

We flew out of Greenbay Airport on a plane with 2 stops total. The tickets were $1,110.00 each (round trip). $1,110.00 x 2 = $2,220.00. We spent a total of $2,220.00 out of our $5,500.00. That left us with a total of $3,280.00

We also bought passports, which were $70.00 for each of us. 70. X 2 = $140.00 $3,280.00 - $140.00 = $3,140.00. We had a total of $3,140.00 left for the trip.
