Sunday’s Focus
Making the unknown known - that
is what the Holy Spirit does for us!
He makes known to us the love of
Jesus and the heart of the Father.
When Paul spoke to the Greeks, he
referred to one of their statues
inscribed with the words, “To the
Unknown God.” He then revealed
to them the true God who can be
known. This is the mission of our
church - to make our God known
to those who are living without
Him.

Graduation Blessing on Sunday
We will celebrate the Blair High
School graduation of Cody Ca-
menzind this Sunday, May 21,
during our worship service. Be
sure to join us as we pray for the
Lord’s hand upon Cody’s life and
future. We also congratulate
Daniel Barber who graduated
from Wayne State College with his
Bachelor’s degree! May the Lord
give wisdom to these young men
that they may honor Christ and
follow Him always.
Do You Need Personal Prayer?
If you would like someone to pray
with you privately and confiden-
tially, you may approach the front
of the sanctuary after our wor-
ship.
Your Take-Home Assignment
Remember last Sunday? We
were focusing on being favored
by God and how we can now
show favor to others. During the
message, you were asked to
pray and then answer the ques-
tion, “What do you want me to
do, Lord?” We are an army rising
up to do great things for God.
What is the Lord calling you to
do? What gift has He given you?
How will you use it to glorify
Him as you show favor to oth-
ers?
Prayer Walk on Tuesday at
6:30 pm
This Tuesday, May 23rd, at 6:30
p.m., we will gather at the Dana
football field to prayer walk the
area where our Ascension Celebra-
tion will take place. Prayer walking
is as old as the Book of Genesis. We
need you to help pray for God’s
blessing on our celebration! Please
attend.
Noon Bible study each Monday.
A light lunch is provided and Curt
Hougen will lead a study from God’s
word. Join us for food and fellowship
in the word. Please contact Curt at
[email protected] or call
402.426.4547 if you can join us.

region. He calls us to pray. All the
men of the church are encouraged
to attend. Bring a friend.

Ministry Center
Christ Lutheran Church has been
invited to become the spiritual
heartbeat of the faith-based
Frank and Jane Krejci Learning
and Life Community. It’s a God-
sized miracle that we have been
offered this opportunity. There is
much to discuss and decide upon.
We all need to pray for the Lord’s
wisdom and for the complete
unity of our church.
Building Committee
Our building committee has ap-
pointed a team of people to con-
ceptualize what spaces would be
needed for our ministry center.
We are now discovering possible
floor plans and costs. Pray for the
committee and its work. All big
decisions will come before the
entire church.
Bright Idea?
Do you have a bright idea for our
ministry center? Now is the time
to share it. Dr. Keith has agreed to
receive your thoughts and ideas.
Please send him an email:

Jesus Follower Quotes
“My prayers don't change God.
Prayer changes me. Praying boldly
boots me out of that stale place of
religious habit into authentic con-
nection with God Himself.” - Lysa
TerKeurst
“To pray in Jesus' name means to
pray in his spirit, in his compas-
sion, in his love, in his outrage, in
his concern. In other words, it
means to pray a prayer that Jesus
himself might pray.” - Ken Wilson
Missional Identity
Missional is not an activity. It’s
an identity! You are God’s
woman, man or child. As Chris-
tians, we are not people who “do
ministry.” We are ministers. We
are not people who “do mission.”
We are missionaries. As we live
out our identity as missionaries,
we will start to see our everyday
activities as opportunities to be
witnesses for Christ. Be Jesus to
the world. Ready, set, go!
