In addition to this committee, the con- gregation is asked to nominate two church members to join the search team. Written nominations will be accepted at the conclusion of both worship services on Sunday, May 15th, 2016. Church members can nominate up to two (2) names. The deacons will count the nominations and prepare a second ballot consisting of four names plus ties. The indi- viduals who comprise the final ballot will be contacted to determine their willingness to serve. The nominees will be announced in the bulletin on May 22nd and the congregation will be asked to vote on Sunday, May 29th. The following individuals currently serve on the Music & Worship Committee: Ann Tiller (Chairman), Tom Wells, Dean Mansfield, Seth Cox, Laura Leard and Karmen Moon. Please prayerfully consider two additional members who you feel would be a good addi- tion to this search team.

M-Fuge 2016 is going to take place at North Greenville

University in Greenville, South Carolina. The dates are June

20th-25th, 2016. The cost of the trip is $300. I will let you

know the final cost for everyone after we finish the last of the

Do not forget that the next fellowship meal we host is

Wednesday, May 18th. Youth need to be there at 4:45 on

Remember that you must work to get credit for your mission

trips. This is the last one that we are doing before the Summer

break.

local mission project. The dates are May 12th-17th. I will let

you know more details and exact date and time at a later time.

This is a chance for you to serve the Lord in a local way the

same way that we do at M-Fuge.

Sunday Night Life

During the month of May, except Mother’s Day, we will be

doing a Bible study entitled God’s Not Dead 2. We will meet in

The Ark at 6 and it will end around 7:30. This is a short Bible

study, but it is very good. Make plans to be there.

a breakfast for the graduates and their families that morning. If

you are graduating, please let me know to make sure that we

have you signed up.

Church members/Pre-K students only must have turned

3 years old by September 1, 2015 and potty trained.

All other children must have turned 4 years old by September 1, 2015.

Pre-K Corner As we reflect on the past school year, we are humbled by the

amazing support given to us from the church family. We are

especially thankful for the use of the buses, the use of the facili-

ties, and the financial support. In addition, Pastor Kevin, the

deacons, and office staff are always ready to assist us in keep-

ing the program running smoothly.

For the 2016-17 school year, the Pre-K Board has made the

decision to discontinue the MMO (Age 2) program. This

change comes after much time was spent in discussion and

prayer. We want to place our emphasis on continuing to offer

an exceptional Pre-K school (Ages 3 & 4) for many, many years

to come. Our staff will consist of Angie Williams as PreK-4

Teacher, Brandy Phillips as PreK-4 Paraprofessional, and

Audrea Ezzell as PreK-3 Teacher. Lauren Bridges has chosen

not to return as a staff member for next year. We take this op-

portunity to thank Miss Lauren for her service and to wish her

well in the future.

Please join us for the MMO End-of-Year Program on May 17th

at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. The Pre-K Graduation Program

will be held on May 18th, at 7:00 p.m. Our twelve graduates

are: Avery Baston, Gil Davis, Marlee Davis, Edee Fortson,

Rebekah Grimaud, Davis Johnston, Addi Mathews, Keely

McKellar,Reese Newsome, Brantley Rogers, Dillyn Standard,

and Knox Taylor. These students will attend K-5 in the fall, and

we are so proud of their success at FBC!
