We are offering a new discount opportunity for camps and classes. In ourReferral Reward Program, you can receive a $10 credit for every new student yourefer and the new student will receive 10% off their camp or class.

Step 1: Contact us on our YMM home page and tell us who referred you.

Step 2: After approval, we will send you the promo code for the 10% discount.

Step 3: After registration, we will add a $10 credit to the account of the parentwho referred you.

This offer begins for 2019 Summer and Teen camps. If you've already enrolled in asummer camp for 2019 and referred a friend, contact sarah@ym m art .netsarah@ym m art .net toreceive the $10 credit. This offer is only applicable for referred new students. Thereis no limit to referrals.

On June 22nd & 23rd, parents areinvited to join their children 30 minutesbefore their class ends for a parent-teacher conference. You will have achance to talk with the teachersabout your child's progress and getrecommendations for the fall semester.

All artwork will be displayed on thewalls of the classroom and thestudents will talk about the projectsthey worked on this semester. Allstudents will receive a certificate ofcompletion and achievement!

*The two Sunday Spring Paddy classeswill be combined and meet at9:30am.

Students are invited to travel to New York City for a day to experience the city,culture and arts. We will spend the day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art anddo a painting activity in Central Park. Fees include transportation, meals, snacks,entrance fees, art instruction, art supplies and a YMM sketchbook. Students areresponsible for personal items, such as sun screen and bug spray. Students will learn acrylic paintingtechniques and will study color theorywhile creating a complete paintinginspired by nature. Classes will be heldoutside as weather permits.

Students will learn about the art andhistory of Japanese paper-folding bycompleting hands-on origami projects.Students will create an origamicomposition with all the piecescreated during the week in the form ofan installation .

This year's Spring Break Camp was ablast! Each day we did a differentproject with the theme Spring is Here.We made self-portraits splashing inpuddles, painted kites flying high in thesky, and even constructed a dioramaof a park as a group. Great jobstudents! We can't wait for next year!

On April 7, 2019, YMM held a privateComics workshop for a Cadette GirlScout Troop. These Girl Scouts learnedthe basics of comic design andcharacter building and created theirown comic book strips! Now they areon their way to earning their ComicsArtist badges!

During CES's Annual Gala, YMM auctioned one private watercolor painting classto a student and a friend of their choosing in order to raise money for CES. Thewinner was Anya V. and she invited her friend Samantha to join her art lesson.They spent a wonderful afternoon with Mrs. Luisa painting bright landscapes andbuildings!

Thomas Grabowicz, age 6, has beenour student for a year and he hasgrown so much! We were amazed byThomas's hard work and perseverancein the Duck Stamp Contest. During thesketching stage, he drew waterfowlover and over again until he felthappy with the result. His persistencepaid off, and we can see a great dealof improvement from the first ducksthat Thomas drew in the beginning ofthe semester! Great job, Thomas!

Students at CES participated in the2019 MAESA Scholars Fair on April 26th!This unique fair gives students, fourththrough eighth grade, the opportunityto engage in a diverse set ofchallenges in the subjects: science, art,spelling, geography, multi-media anddesign.

This year, 6th grader, Esey Berhe won3rd place in the 3D Art category for4th-6th graders. Great job Esey! Andwonderful work CES!
