Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You believe in God; believe also in me.
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so,
would I have told you that I am going there
to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back and take you to be with me that you also
may be where I am. You know the way to the place
where I am going.

Reflections of His Life I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there
is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
II Timothy 4: 7-8 (KJV)
Jessie Lawrence, Jr., of Eastover, South Carolina, was born September 11, 1942. He was the beloved son of the late Jessie Sr. and Lena Mae Ellison Lawrence. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.

Lawrence of Eastover, South Carolina and Daisy Keller of Columbia, South Carolina; three adopted sons: Therion, LaRay and CPL Dana Lawrence; an adopted brother, Robert Kitt; four sisters: Junnie Harris of Chicago, Illinois, Evalena Murphy of Columbia, South Carolina, Julia Lawrence and Elizabeth Wesley, both of Eastover, South Carolina. Brabham of Atlanta, Georgia, and Master Devon Lawrence Anderson and Miss Chrisette Anderson, both of Eastover, South Carolina; four great-grandchildren: Masters Daniel L. Jackson, III and TreVon Jackson, both of Lexington, South Carolina, and Major A. Johnson and Cedrina Richardson of Columbia, South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Anna Alford; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Now that I've come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low; Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to Jesus whom we know, Laugh at the things we used to do.
Miss me, but let me go.
