Managing your business interactions & relationships with donors plays an integral role in your success. One popular way to do this is with our GE or Spectrum software, which helps streamline processes such as donor entry. This type of software is beneficial in the long run, but making the switch isn’t always easy. Here are six tips to have a smooth transition. 1. Keep it simple The goal of our grant management software is to improve efficiency, so stay away from anything that is overly complex. It may be tempting to jump in and learn everything at once, but stick with sections of the software that are intuitive and practical. This should make it easier for your staff members to make the transition and quickly put the software to use.
hands-on demonstration. In most cases, employees can learn the fundamentals within a session or two, and you can avoid many unnecessary complications. 4. Don’t overwhelm employees In the event that your management initiative involves numerous changes and is complex, you should break down the transition into smaller steps. Implementing the new software this way helps cut back on errors and shortens the learning curve. Give employees as much notice as possible so they can adequately prepare. Each staff member should be relatively familiar with one aspect of the software before moving to the next. You may also want to provide one-on-one instruction with any employees who are struggling with the switch
2. Explain the benefits.

Hold a training seminar Designate a time for employees to sit down and learn the software. Part of the cost is training your designated team. If your staff needs a refresher course or you have new hires, we offer training courses at your place or remotely. Our consultant will walk everyone through the software and provide a
