The MBAT is one of the highlights of the HEC Paris MBA learningby doing approach, which immerses students in unforgettablehands-on development experiences. But far from being just asporting event, it’s the biggest gathering of MBA students inEurope. The three days of sports, events, and celebrations uniteover 1500 participants from around the world, making it anunparalleled opportunity to network, exchange cultures, andfoster lifelong connections.

The MBAT is truly a unique experience, as it gives students theopportunity to exercise teamwork and leadership skills, as well asshowcasing their sporting prowess.

HEC Paris is proud to host the HEC MBA Tournament for its 26th yearrunning and the MBAT team would like to extend a warm welcome to eachand every one of the participants of the tournament. The team has workedtirelessly through the year and we hope that you enjoy your time duringMBAT and get to experience the tournament in its fullness!

MBAT 2016 is packed full with competitive sports, social games, parties andgood times all around! For the parties, you can look forward to the “MBAOlympics” opening ceremony, battle of the bands, salsa competition andmore! As for the sporting segment, we have 23 competitive sports, 17participating schools and over 350 registered teams, so the chase is on forthe overall championship!

This year, we’re also very excited to be featuring the inaugural All Starscompetition – This will see the crème de la crème from each school cometogether to compete against another such team. Expect an awe-inspiringdisplay of talent, sporting prowess and leadership! This is symbolic of theMBA experience – being thrown into a challenging situation with completestrangers, having to overcome differences and work together in order toachieve a common goal.

We hope that you have an amazing time during this once in a lifetimeexperience -that you are able to showcase your talents on the field, unwindduring the parties as well as form new friendships with people, for the MBATand beyond!

HOW TO USE THE BRACELETAll payments during the MBAT tournament will be done through a payment systemwhich makes use of rechargeable wrist bands.

Upon arrival to the HEC Campus, each MBAT participant will receive his own personalwrist band as part of the welcome package. This wrist band will be pre-configured to theparticipant's name and should not be lost or switched. The wrist bands’ colour indicatewhich bus you should take to reach your hotel.

Participants can charge wrist bands with money through cash or credit card payments,at any of the payment points spread throughout the campus. Once charged, the wristband can be used to purchase foods and beverages at the bars and food trucks.

Wrist bands will also be used to check in at the entrance, during meals offered to you atthe gym (breakfast and lunch), the lake (lunch) and the restaurant (dinner), and whenentering a bus leaving for your hotel.

There will be no credit reimbursements or transfers between wrist bands during MBAT.After the conclusion of the tournament, MBAT Organisation will contact onerepresentative per university to collect the names of people who request areimbursement. After receiving this list, MBAT Organisation will make one consolidatedmoney transfer to the university's representative bank account, who will then distributethe individual amounts to each requester. After the bank transfer is complete, nofurther reimbursement requests will be accepted.
