1. Anthraquinones & flavonoids that kill adult Haemonchus contortus

2. Alkaloid, which has a purgative action, that eliminates dead adult Haemonchuscontortus

3. Tannins, which have a healing action, that cures the traumatic lesion in the abomasal mucosa
