JAPAN ADVANCEMENT

The Japanese never had e-commerce and theynever had the Internet. The whole idea of sittingin front of a screen and typing up requests asweve done with the Internet never functioned in

Japan. People did not have PCs. Then theyswitched right over to the cell-phone technology.They jumped ahead in technology.

The factor that has held us back is that ourpopulation is not very educated about how touse the device for communication other thanvoice

CONCLUSION

M-Commerce technology is so advanced not only has it changedthe way we do business but it is changing the way governmentagencies do business with the public as well as other agencies.Especially after 9/11 when all line of communication was interrupted.Government are setting up new frequency standards to stay in touchwith emergency services.

As an government employee we have taken actions to use

technology to improve the way we communicate with emergencyservices and other government agencies with the use of setting upaccess point throughout the city to provide access to the citysinfrastructure. Even the use of inkless fingerprint that is transmittedthrough the internet which allow the police department to haveinformation on the inmate within minutes. The federal governmenthas setup new frequency standards for emergency services. Theuse of mobile technology is increasing due to the increase indemand on quick information.
