8. Use a manual corner planer for a great finish on the edge

banding tape. Finalize the finishing using a fine emery cloth.

Sand only the corner, never the panel surface.

9. Clean the glue left on the surface using only recommended products.

Use only water for PVA and urea formaldehyde. For contact.

adhesive, use a cloth with turpentine or resin remover.

10. Use standard tools and equipment for wood when drilling. Use

high-speed steel drills or hard metal drills.

The hole may go through the entire thickness of the panel or just

on one side.

Always protect the panel edges and remember that bright finishes require special care

in the manufacture and handling. Always use appropriate tools and equipment.

PVC and melamine edge banding tapes, blades and wooden headers may be used in

Eucafiber LPL (Melamine) and Lacca AD panels.

Edge finishing

Eucafiber LPL (Melamine) and Lacca AD panels are easy to clean and maintain. Use a

damp cloth with soap and water or neutral detergent.

Use ethyl alcohol to remove stains on Lacca AD finishes.

Do not use abrasives such as steel scourers or multipurpose cleaning products.

Cleaning and maintenance

A ventilation gap of at least 30 mm must be made when installing the Lacca AD

panel on walls, preventing moisture from the wall to be transferred to the panel.

the exclusive Italian High Definition technology. Coated with a highly gloss varnish, it

gives more depth and reflection to wood grains and solid colors also providing a

higher contrast, clarity and realism.

The LACCA AD panel is suitable for all kinds of furniture (commercial, corporate and

residential), it has great surface resistance and it is easy to use.

It is an alternative to glass finish and lacquer painting, providing sophistication and

elegance to projects. The panels are supplied with protective film.

The product resistance meets the standard NBR 14535 of the ABTN (Brazilian Technical

Standards Association) - Wooden Furniture - requirements and tests for painted surfaces.

Step by step guide to work with the MDF Eucafiber LACCA AD Panel Variety in designs that reflect the latest trendsThe MDF panel allows the use of di�erent types of edge banding tapes. There are several types of

metal frames, which are recommended according to the design of the furniture. It is essential that

all panel edges be protected. The glossy finish requires a few precautions during the manufacture

and handling of the furniture.

3. When using circular saws for cutting, use carbon-tipped

blades in sizing and sliding table saws. Saws equipped with

scriber allow for faster procedures and avoid splinters created

when exiting the main saw. The glossy side must be facing up.

4. Start the edge finishing process sanding the glossy side

corner and the backside using a piece of wood wrapped in

sandpaper 280 to 320 grits.

5. Apply the glue manually or use automatic equipment,

such as a small edge-banding machine.

6. Remove the excess from the sides of the MDF Panel

Eucafiber LACCA AD using the end trimmer until aligning

all corners.

7. Use the edge trimmer to remove the excess

of banding tape. Slide the edge trimmer carefully, not applying

pressure on the panel to avoid burrs or marks on the surface.

Attention: follow the instructions regarding the edge drying

time before trimming.

The MDF Eucafiber Lacca AD should be stored horizontally

in a covered and ventilated place, on flat platform or on flat

surface, away from the sun and rain.

Cut up AD MDF Eucafiber Lacca AD keeping the protective film on

the reflective surface to ensure its protection during the

manufacturing process. Do not drag the panel to avoid damaging

the back and the glossy surface.
