Alwan ToolBox supports the most popular measuring instruments from X-Rite, Techkon, Konica Minolta and Barbieri.

Measure & Profi le and Import & Profi le tools let you build 4, 5, 6 or 7-color ICC profi les from spectral data in seconds, thanks to direct measurements or imported datasets.

Spectral prediction: high profi le accuracy with few color patches

Alwan patented Hydra® spectral prediction technology needs less than 3% of the number of patches usually necessary to characterize a printing process. Thanks to their reduced size, Hydra® testcharts can be incorporated in production jobs and require only a fraction of the time to be measured. With Hydra® technology, profi ling any print device turns quick, simple and cost-effi cient.

HydraMix®: The best channels for the best profi le

HydraMix® has been developed to let you profi le your printing processes as cost-effectively as possible. When building a profi le with Hydra Profi ling® technology, you have the ability to import several datasets and choose the best channels from each one in order to build your profi le, replace a dataset channel by another one, add or remove a channel from a dataset. Hydra® will do the rest and build the most accurate profi le for your printing process.

With Hydra Profi ling®, you will always use an up-to-date and accurate profi le in production, and therefore improve color accuracy and reduce ink usage.
