Measuring Tools & Instruments 

Vernier Calliper (ELP.102.113) Plated steel, Columbus type calliper enabling the use to read either inside, outside or depth measurements. With dual scale 0-12 cm x 0.1 mm. Imperial scale graduated 0 to 5 x 1/128 inches, provided with thumb wheel for easy motion of jaws, in plastic case.

 

Vernier Calliper IME - Type (ELP.102.114) Improved design, plated steel , with dual scale 0-15 cm x 0.1 mm. and 0 - 6 x 1/128 inches, provided with thumb movement for easy motion of jaws, in velvet lined box/plastic case.

 

Caliper Steel (ELP.102.115) for internal and external measurements.

 

Micrometer Screw Gauge (ELP.102.116)

Made of nickel plated brass, with ratchet top, oxidised threaded steel rod, supplied in cardbord case.

.01 Size 0 -15 x 1/100 mm.

.02 Size 0 -20 x 1/100 mm.

.03 Size 0 -25 x 1/100 mm.

 

Micrometer Screw Gauge (ELP.102.117) Made of nickel plated brass, with ratchet top, accurately machined stainless steel rod, Range 0-25 x 0.01 mm., supplied in velvet/plastic case.

 

Micrometer Screw Gauge (ELP.102.118) As per cat. No. ELP.102.117 , but with steel rod.

 Spherometer (ELP.102.119)

Brass dial head about 40 mm. dia., divided in 100 parts registering on vertical scale 10-0-10 mm., on metal black painted frame. Lead Screw and three legs (40 mm. Seperation) are of mild steel .

.01Screw Pitch 1 mm. Reading 0.01 mm.

.02 Screw Pitch 0.5 mm. Reading 0.005 mm.

 

Spherometer (ELP.102.120) As per cat. No. ELP.102.119 but haeavy pattern double disc type and legs are of stainless steel.

 

Opsiometer (ELP.102.121) For measuring the length of curved lines, comprising a knurled wheels runs on a transversal mounted threaded spindle.

 

Vernier Microscope (Travelling Microsope) (ELP.102.122) Horizontal and vertical scales of stainless steel. The cast iron base is fitted with levelling screws with the top duly machined over which slides a metal carriage. Slide can be clamped at any position by means of clamping screws. Fine adjustement for final reading is with a micrometer screw. A vertical slide operating in a similar way is fitted on the horizontal carriage. The microscope with rack and pinion is fitted on this vertical carriage and can be clamped in a vertical or horizontal carriage and can be clamped in a vertical or horizontal position. Stage for placing objects for measurements is fitted with perspex plate. Achromatic lenses have been used. slides travel 165 mm horizontally and 140 mm vertically. Scales are accurately divided. Vernier reading 0.02 or 0.01 mm. The unit is packed in wooden polished case.

 

Microscope compact Newton’s Ring (ELP.102.123) This specially designed microscope for Newton’s ting experiment is very compact in size and economically priced. It has a built in light reflecting unit and within the lightweight aluminum cast body the Newton;s ring apparatus can be placed. The motion to the microscope is given by a micrometer screw of traverse 10 mm and least count .01 mm. The microsopce has 75 mm working distance. 8X Ramsden eye pieces with a 90° cross line reticule and totoal magnification of 6X.

 

Microscope Standard Six Position (ELP.102.124)

In this microscope a dovetailed cast iron carriage slides on a heavy cast iron base. In the carriage a locking arrangement is provided to arrest coarse motion when fine motion screw is used. Bu successively locking and unlocking. Motion in the traverse can be provided by the slow motion screw. Two holes are provided with Clamping screws to hold the microscope in either horizontal or vertical plane.

Horizontal movement 160 mm vertical movement can be kept vertically, least count .01 mm, working distance 50 mm, eyepiece 8X ramsden, reticule 90° cross and total magnification 25X supplied in wooden case.

Reading Telescope (ELP.102.125) It is fitted with an achromatic objective of Fl 178 mm clear aperture 23 mm and 8x ramsden eyepiece with 90 degree cross line reticule. The focusing is done by rack and pinion mechanism with range fro 1000 to infinity.

 

Reading Telescope With Scale (ELP.102.126)

Advance type Telescope mounted on 18 mm diameter and 450 mm long chrome plated pillar on stable metal base, duco finish with levelling screws. Telescope is mounted in metal fork and rotates along the horizontal axis. Adjustment of telescope along vertical axis is provided through a fine motion screw and focusing by smooth rack and pinon. Translucent perspex scale in mm having horizontal reading 25-0-25 cm and 0-50 cm vertical reading. Figures are inverted. Scale carrier can be adjusted, vertically or horizontally and can be placed below or above the telescope.

Telescope is fitted with achromatic optics objectives of 175 mm focus and 10x Ramsden eye piece with cross wire. Telescope has a range from one meter to infinity.

 Height Measure (ELP.102.136) It is to find out height of persons. It has base of metal about 300 mm square, It is 200 cm. in length and calibrated above 85 cm at every cm. A head-marker is free to slide but remains still at any particular position by means of spring loaded ball bearings or tightening screw. The head marker protrudes 190 mm from the scale.

Student Vernier Microscope (ELP.102.155) The type of Microscope suitable for Newton's ring experiment. Measuring Scale length 110mm and vernier least count 0.01mm. Microscope have provision to work either in horizontal or vertical direction at a time. The microscope with rack and pinion is fitted on the vertical carriage and can be clamped in a vertical or horizontal position.

 

Vernier Caliper Demonstration Type (ELP.102.156) Made of seasoned wood. Range : 300mm x 0.1mm and 12" x 0.01".
