ROLL CALL SALUTE TO THE FLAG RECORDS The Records of May 20, 2014 were passed to Councillor Knight MOTIONS, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS 14-477-Offered by Councillor Lungo-Koehn Be It Resolved that Diane McLeod, Medford's Human Diversity Director and Mark Rumley, Medford's City Solicitor report back to the Medford City Council with regard to the ordinance they are working on having to do with Banning discrimination in public accommodations. Where are we in the process and how can the council help and take part? To date, Boston, Cambridge, North Hampton, Amherst, and Salem have enacted ordinances banning discrimination in public accommodations. Somerville should have voted on their ordinance on May 22, 2014 and hopefully Medford will be discussing and working towards enacting an ordinance in the near future.
