For Immediate Release SINATAB INTRODUCES FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND CHILDREN’S TABLET - the EPOCH™

Las Vegas, NV, Jan. 7 2016— SinaTab, Inc unveiled the first-of-its-kind Android-based

children’s tablet, the Epoch, and the accompanying Teddy Bear™ tablet holder accessory on

CES trade show today. The product is designed to give parents a simplified way of monitoring

the safety of their children, allowing them to freely explore the Internet, while providing them

with a unique and personalized learning experience.

This first-of-its-kind tablet will be available for sale in February 2016, online and in the

electronics section of stores such as BestBuy and Walmart with the price starting from $69.99.

According to SinaTab’s CEO Jackie Chen, the new Epoch tablet is a perfect solution for

parents who are concerned with their children’s safety during the use of mobile devices. “Parents

are looking for a device for their children’s entertainment and education that will allow them to

browse freely without the uncensored advertisements or uncurated contents that you would find

with something like a TV screen. The Epoch tablet is the perfect balance, providing the best

safety features and access to a vast selection of educational content curated by experts.”

According to a survey conducted by SinaTab and Research Global, a leading global

research company, 87 percent of parents surveyed believed that it’s important that their children

do not see inappropriate content when using mobile devices. However, only 32 percent of these

parents reported having success with parental controls settings on their devices to ensure their

mobile content is children-friendly.

“We spent two years creating this new children’s tablet to address parental control needs

for mobile devices,” designer and engineer Dean Lee says. “The Epoch tablet provides children

with a safe browsing environment by using a pre-installed browser called SinaSearch. When

using this browser, children can get access to more than 6000 images, songs, videos and games,

which are pre-approved by the SinaTab learning experts. As children grow, parents have the

option of pre-selecting the contents that they think are appropriate for their children and can

grant permission to additional websites and applications. Parents are also able to set usage times

to control when their children may access the device.”

The new Epoch tablet, on display in booth 1228 in the Central Hall, is being showcased

with the accompanying Teddy Bear™ tablet holder accessory. “This holder was designed to

stimulate children’s interest in learning with the new Epoch tablet by gaining their attention

through the teddy bear,” said designer and engineer Dean Lee.
