India's inclusive development necessitates harnessing the
incredible power of our nation's youth. India faces
development challenges but inherent in these challenges
are opportunities for the youth to exercise their
creativity, develop solutions and make a difference. In
recent years, youth have raised their voice on the issues
of social concern but sustained engagement is needed.
The only way to achieve this is through mindset and
behavioural change where social responsibility becomes a
habit. It should not be a singular journey, but a vector with
both direction and speed.
YES FOUNDATION Media for Social Change Fellowship channelises the high octane,
positive energy of youth, across the length and breadth of the country to accelerate India's
social transformation. The Fellowship provides the youth an opportunity for sustained
engagement with social issues through regular capacity building trainings and structured
placement with credible NGO. This year over 3000 aspirants across 535 cities and towns
pan India applied for the coveted Fellowship positions. In subsequent years, we intend to
develop multitudes of socially conscious youth leaders for the country's social
transformation.
I express my sincere gratitude to the numerous individuals and organisations for joining
us in this journey of catalysing social change.
