National Readership Survey: The national Readership survey provides estimates of Britain’s major newspapers
and magazines, showing the size of the audiences they cover. They are a non-profit
organization.
Here is an example of a survey they conducted.

These figures estimate the number of readers of a certain newspaper, their ages and
their sex.
Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board: The Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board Provide estimates for how many people
watch telly, what programs they watch, what channels and for how long. This is done
by using a panel of television owning private home that represent the viewing
behaviour of the population.

These Figures show radio stations listened to, how many listen to the station, average
hrs listened, total hrs listened and listening share compared to the other stations.

programs, and from having their privacy invaded; and
The radio spectrum (the airwaves used by everyone from taxi firms and boat
owners, to mobile-phone companies and broadcasters) is used in the most
effective way.
