We are many destitute women here in flood shelter at

the road side have been suffering much in various

diseases and not able to bur the medicines as need.

Many have no means to survive and just living with

The assistance of GO and NGOs relief. We are very grateful to

Rishilpi for their kind treatment & medicines.

Rishilpi Health Programme has

organized Emergency medical

camp to serve the sick and

helpless people at flood affected

area providing treatment with

necessary medicines.

The medical camp began from

12 August 2011

and working continuously.

Two medical team have

organized two camp at Krisna

nagor and Village of Tala

upazilla under Satkhira district

and emergency medicines has

been provided to the flood

affected sick people. The team

also motivated the people how

to prevent the water born

diseases

Objective of the Emergency

Medical Camp

Provide medical support to

the flood affected sick people

with love and compassion to

reduce their sufferings caused

by water born diseases and

prevent the diseases as well.

Diseases treated

During medical camp we have

documented the patient's

history and medicine records

that have been distributed to

the people. As of record/client

register we have found the

following diseases in the flood

affected were treated:

dysentery, diarrhea,

Pneumonia, fever with common

cold, scabies and other skin

diseases.
