    Interoperability: any type of dense military load can be transferred from heavier airlifters to the C-27J thanks to

    its high floor strength (4,900 Kg/m) and transported or airdropped in hostile areas.

    Interchangeability: the Spartan is also a valid alternative to heavier airlifters to transport the most (65%) of the

    Typical Airborne Division Equipment at a lower cost.
