SlideShare is a great place for teachers to upload class notes so that students may access them

from home.

SlideShare is also a valuable tool because it allows for students to maintain a portfolio of work to

self assess their progress throughout the year.

SlideShare can be utilized to provide students with extra

credit. You can assign students a research topic and have them upload a presentation onto the website. This will eliminate a lot of the extra work that goes into

grading research papers.
