What is Phil and Wendi’s background?Phil was raised by an alcoholic father in the inner city of Cleveland, Ohio, and began his ministry as a youth pastor in 1985. He also worked with Youth for Christ, and has been speaking nationally to students for over 30 years. He was raised in a Catholic family and began a relationship with Christ in 1983. Wendi was raised on a large grain and livestock farm in Missouri and attended church as a child. She is a long-time teacher and former principal, and began her true relationship with Christ in her adult years.

What makes Phil and Wendi the experts?Phil has been studying youth culture, teen murder, school violence, and true crime for over 30 years. He has personally interviewed over 200 teen killers, multiple school shooters and dozens of serial killers, and his experience is unlike any other American communicator. Wendi has a MBA in early childhood education, and has worked with students both as a teacher and a principal for nearly 15 years. She helps Phil with research into youth culture, technology, social media and mobile phone apps.
