Lancashire ConstabularyLancashire Constabulary covers the whole county of Lancashire with an Estate of around 100 (one hundred) buildings housing a gross internal area of approx. 98,000m2. The buildings range in size and complexity from small local police stations, to large more complex city Operating Centres and the main Headquarters and training complex at Hutton.
In early 2017, the Constabulary will be tendering for a new framework agreement, for reactive repairs and maintenance, for minor works up to the sum of £60,000 per category. The works will cover the main headquarters site as well as the force’s buildings and sites across Lancashire. Local suppliers can bid for the whole region or just the areas of East, West and South Lancashire.
The force will be looking for contractors who can supply skills and services such as: groundwork’s, joinery (including UPVC), plumbing, drainage, mechanical engineering, roofing (including cladding) general building, electrical repairs, painting and decorating, fabrication and locks.
This contracting opportunity, along with future opportunities will be on the Constabulary’s supplier portal bluelight. Suppliers will need to register if they wish to express an interest; bluelight is free to register for suppliers.
