An interview with ...

THeReSa LüLF It’s 8 a.m. in Essen, Germany. What are you doing? like many of my colleagues, i grab a coffee first thing in the morning. With a large cup of coffee at my side, i first answer all most important e-mails and update my to Do list for the day or week.

What do you like most about your job? the diversity - my tasks in export and international marketing are highly varied, so each day is different. and i really enjoy being in touch with people from a lot of different countries and cultures. this is very exciting and you learn a lot.

Be honest. Before you began working at Dr. Schrammek, did you do everything right for your own skin care? i’m very lucky because i don’t have any major problems with my skin. nevertheless, i’ve learned from Dr. schrammek how important it is to thoroughly cleanse my skin. if i’m honest, in the past i used to neglect that sometimes in the evenings. i don’t do that anymore!

Which products do you use? i cleanse my skin with sUPer soft cleanser and tone it with herBal care lotion. then i use the hYalUronhY+ Performance serUm. as a day cream, i use oPtimUm Protection cream and hYDra maXimUm night cream as night care. and since i’m approaching the age at which a little preventive care is necessary, i also like to use the active fUtUre series.

How would you describe your perfect weekend? this definitely starts by sleeping in followed by an extensive breakfast – my favorite meal of the day. When the weather is nice, i take every opportunity to spend time outside. Basically, i think it should be a good mix of action and relaxation.

What kind of food can’t you live without? since i really like to cook, i try a lot of new things on the weekends when i have more time. this can be a bit of everything, from mediterranean beef fillet over spanish tapas to thai curry. if i don’t have much time for cooking, pasta with cherry tomatoes and scampi is one of my favorite meals.

Which book or film has recently inspired you? i’m a big fan of cody mcfadyen’s series with the protagonist smoky Barrett (shadow man, the face of Death, the Darker side, abandoned). his writing style makes the book exciting from the beginning to end and makes you crave for more.

been working in the international team since april 2014 and looks after the company’s international partners by e-mail, telephone, skype or on-site. theresa completed her Bachelor’s degree in international Business (with the specialization in tourism & event management) at the cologne Business school and received her master’s degree in international management (major in marketing & sales) from the University of applied sciences in muenster. During that time, she enjoyed an eight-month stay abroad (studies and internship) in Jerez de la frontera, spain.

theresa lülf works closely with the international distribution partners and supports them in analysing and developing new sales strategies. in addition, she analyses different markets worldwide and looks for distribution partners for new markets. her other responsibility is the company’s international marketing where she organises and participates in international exhibitions and other international events. this also includes the preparation of marketing material, newsletters and presentations in english.
