8 AM – 9 AM Walking Tour of the Steel Stacks MACS Past President Karen Normann (Muhlenberg College)

Wake up early and get your morning exercise in during this walking tour of the nearby renowned Steel Stacks of Bethlehem. Led by Karen Normann CCR, we will hike to the Ma-son Trestle which gives a great view of the blast furnaces and area known as the Artsquest pavilion. Karen will prove some interesting facts about this area, formerly the Bethlehem Steel Company.

Meet in the Lobby at 8:00 am. Wear comfortable walking shoes or sneakers. Bring your camera (or phone) for some great pictures!

9 AM–10 AM

Breakfast and Round Table Discussions/Ice BreakerMACS Education Committee Chair Joyce Piazza-Snell (York College) and Rick Horner (Delaware Valley College)Network opportunity for all to get to know one another and talk about timely topics in the College Store market. Hot topics such as Inclusive Access, Equitable Access, Publisher Rent-als, Customizing your merchandise and what to do with open floor space will be discussed.

Come and reminisce about the past and let’s look into our crystal ball at the store of the future.
