Meeting Diary 04/10/2014

(This is Half, another part with Maria, u can add some details to that part. Thank you.)

Firstly, Chris presents objective .We read and understanding the present objective.

Then we ready to create name for the company. We using a funny way to create the

company name .Firstly, we let everyone say it out the first words in their mind when

they think about the company or car, as: 1.chessess 2. Game 3.Dog 4.Hello 5.Maria.

And we suddenly found that is difficult to choose and create without any reference.

So we just decide to use D&G to be the name at the monument. Later on, we will

recreate the name of Car Company again according to enough resources.

Then group start to reading marketing research chapter one. And Chris summarized

the market research. In the middle, we create the group on Facebook and build the

group with each other.

Then group member taking and analysis the detail of marking size. Doing surmise of

marketing size.

Finally, due to the time assuming. We choose Chris was choose to be leader and

separate different part of market research to everyone. Then email to Chris before

Wednesday and make decision on Thursday.

Meeting Dairy 06/10/2014

Firstly, we discuss the main point of market research. According to everyone‘s

mind, they came up few ideas about that before research. Follow as: Few

employees training will be better and so on.

Secondly, Chris explains the main point of market research. Neal response for the

market sector. And Tina analysis about the promotion about advisement. Maria

taking about Manufactures’ market share. Victoria analysis the market segment

sizes.

Then we discuss about the safety of car and the energy of car. And Neal and Chris

think about the engine is important, but Tina and Victoria think that we should take

balance and make the nice profit.

Victoria pointed that aged 25-40 is already have market medium car is more visible.

Neal pointed that we can choose the best engine, cheaper option to make balance.

After discuss, then we decided that everyone choose that two sectors to choose the

type of car.

Neal says that medium and large car.

Tina says that medium and large car.

Chris say that it is point define medium car. All people will buy it and young people

will buy it as well. It is also not going to larger car whole sector says reduce the size

of car. So Chris go for city car (25-40, 8.9), Medium car (41-50, 11.05).

Victoria choose for Medium car (25-40, 11.05), City Car (25-40, 8.9).

Maria agreed that medium car that medium car and large car.

We have different ideas about choice car and we cannot decide imminently. Due to

the time running t, our leader decides that go back home and look the whole details

carefully. At the same time, everyone write down the car which they choose and the

reasons about them. Later on, we post on the Facebook and discuss in the next

meeting.

In addition at the end of discuss, we got a language problem misunderstanding.

When we discuss that choose which car to be our product. When it is turn to Maria

talking about why she chooses the large car, she asks for help in Chinese from Neal

and explains it by wrong Chinese. And it make Chris and Victoria misunderstood

that she don not know what is she doing, don not know what we doing, she only

listen that what Neal say. And after that, we repointed the role that English is office

language. And we give Maria more time to think about it and how to explain it

slowly. Finally, we solve the misunderstanding with each other.


Today our main task is figure out the costs, option, and furcating.

According to last meeting, we continue to discuss a little bit about form from last

meeting.

Chris asked Andy about the selling price is that good or not. Andy said that it was ok

and worked. And Chris tries to explain all the things to Tina and the reason why we

do the things like that. After we figure out the form and we found that we have to

loss in the first year. At that time, Victoria pointed that we must be loss in the first

year and we can improve in the next year. And everyone agree that point as well.

Maria and Neal thinks that we can try the first plan and see what is going on. After

that we can see what we should do in the next year according to the result of first

plan. And others agree that and continue the first plan.

Later on, we discuss that who is going to do presentation. And at the end of that, we

decide using draw a lots to decide whom going to do presentation. Finally, we

chose Victoria and Maria to do presentation.

Then we looked at the brief details and try to make sure the roles and key point in

the presentation. Chris writes down the key point on the PPT, everyone make the

idea on that. Due to the time, we summarize the key point about our business

game. Finally we complete the PPT. And we make a working list for maria and

victoria. When they coming back write down the words they will present and posted

on the Facebook to let everyone body understand. And give some points over there.

From the plan of the last meeting, today we talking about the details about group

assessment. And we separate to do one part of the group. Tina will go to write the

part of A and B. Victoria will go to write the part of C and the part of meeting diary.

Maris will go to write the part of D. Chris will write down the part of E and F. And

Neal will go to write down the part of G.
