Highlights:

The 140th meeting was not only a display of verbal gymnastics as quoted by the TMOD but a tribute to the Toastmasters club with our founder President Ramesh Mahalingam assuming the role of the TMOD

We had the new Ex-com in action making all efforts with co-operation of the members to make the event a huge success.

President CC CL Naveen Sharma announced the sponsorships received for ICAT and honored the sponsors:

1.TM G.R. Metha has extended his contribution towards the sponsorship of general expenses upto a maximum of AED 50002.TM Prabhakar Kamath has offered to sponsor the trophies for 6 months.3.TM James Mathew has contributed towards the Food expenses upto a maximum of AED 50004.CA Jitendra has undertaken the sponsorship of Venue through his contribution of AED 6000

The audience voted TM Mayur Shukla as the best speaker, TM Ciby Joseph as best evaluator and Guest TM Leo as the best table topic speaker.

The highlight of the meeting was the new perspective offered to communication and leadership through an Educational session by TM Prakash Chugani

Two different mentalities –Abundance Mentality and Scarcity Mentality

Project Speeches, Evaluation and Table Topics:

TM Mayur Shukla had an interesting way of blending the world of bollywood with management and sharing some of the derived principles of management. The P2 speech was was evaluated by TM Ciby Joseph

TM Vineet Borar delivered project 2 speech sharing the advantages of water therapy which was evaluated by TM Abhishek Gattani

TM Venkatraman gave us a glimpse of the Youth leadership programme, its significance and truly inspired the audience to participate in training. The P9 speech was evaluated by TM Nimesh Lokhandwala

We had TM Bhalla as Table Topic master who ensured the topics were thought provoking and encouraged the members and guests to speak. TM Wilson, MTM Supriya, Guest ..participated.

CC Biji Daniel shared his thoughts about the meeting by evaluating the overall proceedings.

Roles :TMOD : ‘But out of limitations comes Creativity‘This was the Theme of the day very well infused into the meeting by TMOD Ramesh Mahalingam. He

Word Master:TM Pradeep Chandani shared the word of the day in a creative manner. He made the audience put on their thinking hats when he asked--what is the word which refers to a personality trait including the qualities of both introversion and extroversion. The word he introduced was Amivert.

SAA: TM Anup Mathew arranged the venue for the meeting, made the requisite materials available for the members and greeted the guests.

Secretary : TM SupriyaRan through the previous meeting and arranged for the dinner

Grammarian: We thank MTM Jaya Mahalingam for highlighting the impressive words used during the meeting and suggesting ways to avoid incorrect usage of words. She had a very systematic manner of presenting the grammarian report.

Timer: TM Haresh Rakholia was accurate in time keeping atime check

Shoot Master: TM Balasubramainam captured the wonderful moments of the meeting by serving as the shoot master
