Meeting started with the Chairman welcoming all members of the Board of Studies. Before

taking up agenda of the meeting, Professor Shamim Ahmad congratulated Prof. Akram Ahmad

Khan for taking over as Chairman of the Department as well as chairing the first meeting of the

Board of studies. Members also expressed their hope that under the able guidance of Prof.

Akram Ahmad Khan the department will experience all round development. Further, members

expressed thanks to Dr Saghir Ahmad Ansari for doing very well during his chairmanship.

(i) Considered and recommended the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), revised coursestructure and contents of Master Of Agri Business Management (MAM), as well as thegrading system for approval in Faculty meeting, as also recommended by the CurriculumDevelopment Committee, accordingly as suggested by the office of the controller ofExamination vide letter # XM/DC(E-I)1618 dated 02/05/2015 and XM/DC(E-I)1640 dated19/05/2015. The details of the revised course structure and contents are attached asAnnexure-I.

(ii) The amendments in related ordinances (Academic) shall be adopted, accordingly asformulated by the University.

The Board of Studies also authorized chairman and the Departmental Curriculum DevelopmentCommittee for making required amendments in the relevant Clauses of Ordinances (Academic) andcourse structure.
