This guide shows you how you can have meetings using video over the internet.
You will need to have a broadband connection, a camera and speakers & microphone (you can use a headset with a microphone)
This guide will show you how to install “Skype” and then how you can use this to carry out meetings with anyone, anywhere in the world.

Installing Skype for Video Conferencing
1) Go to web page: www.skype.com
2) Click on the Download tab
3) Click on the Download button

4) If you see the below message come up – click on it – you will see an additional menu - on this additional menu - click on Download File

1) Uncheck this box
2) Click on Continue installing Skype

If Skype does not start automatically, you will see this icon on your desktop – double click it to start Skype.
Then you will see this box showing that you are signing in using the account you just created.

b) Uncheck the second checkbox to avoid emails
a) Type in your password
c) Click on Sign In

Finding your contact
Click on:
Contacts
Search for Skype users…

You will then see this box, type in the name of the person you are looking for (see next slide for example when searching for Naheed Hanif)
