Where you can find us…

Tarifa is situated at the most southern point of Europe between theAtlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, directly at the Strait ofGibraltar. It`s a small fishermen village in the middle of a greatintegral nature reserve with a great view towards Morocco. Oncause of the sea gate this place was used as an important fortresslong time ago and it was the center of many historical happenings.

Your way to Tarifa….

Coming from the middle of Europe for example, you can reach Andalusiawithin 3 hours. Many airlines offer flights to Malaga or Jerez de la Fronterawhich are ca. 150 km far away from Tarifa. With pleasure we help you withthe planning and organisation of your arrival and departure – fast anduncomplicated.

MalagaFrom Malaga your drive to Tarifa takes you ca. 1,5 or 2 hours.

Jerez de la FronteraFrom the airport you reach Tarifa via the motorway Sevilla – Jerez Cadiz after a 1,5 hours ride. Further possibilities are the airports of Sevilla(160 km) or Gibraltar (40 km).

Transfer from the airport to TarifaWe have very good contacts to rental car and shuttle bus stations. Withpleasure we ask for a personal offer for you.

Worth knowing things about the region…

It has been told that many different energies come together at this place. Also the famous author Paolo Coelho (Alchimist) visited this lively place on the search for his treasure: Tarifa. Legends decorate this village back then as well as today.

● Everybody who visits Tarifa will never forget the both definitions“Levante & Poniente“. These are two kinds of winds. The east wind “Levante“ comes from the Sahara and brings warm air which can blow through the town with up to 50 knots. The colder wind “Poniente“ comes up from the Atlantic Ocean with ca. 11 –21 knots.

● The temperatures in Tarifa are always around 25 degrees. Also in the main season it stays comfortable, because there is always a fresh breeze from the Atlantic Ocean.

● Tarifa not only offers watersports, there are also many otherthings you can do for enjoying nice and diversified days. Nomatter if you plan daily trips with the ferry to Morocco, if youwant to go hiking or biking in the backcountry, or if you want towatch whales, you will find something for every kind of taste. La Vega Studios

● La Vega studios are an conversion of an old Cortijo with accommodation that surrounds the open air courtyard. It consists of 4 open plan studio apartments, all of which have a very cosy yet modern and fresh design. During your stay, you can also enjoy a spacious community courtyard (Cortijo) for either a nice meal / BBQ or a good old fashioned sunbathing session. Free parking and facility for washing and storing surfing equipment. With 4 individual open plan studios there it is also a possibility for you to gather friends or family and rent 2,3 or all 4 studios together.

Silos 19

● Silos19 Suites is set in an 18th-century building in Tarifa’s Old Town. It offers a charming roof terrace with fantastic views of the Moroccan coast. The property features spacious, air-conditioned suites, some with bright colours and ethnic design. All come with free WiFi and a fridge. Bathrooms include bathrobes and toiletries. The beautiful roof terrace has a hot tub and a chill-out area. It offers panoramic views over the sea and the Moroccan coast. Silos19 Suites is 8 minutes’ walk from Tarifa Beach, which is a popular destination for kitesurfing. Just 600 m away, TarifaHarbour offers regular ferries to Tangier.

Riad Lolita

● This fabulous Tarifeña home was built in 1893, it is now available to rent by the room or as a whole. All the very special original features have been preserved– marble floors and staircases, retro hydraulic tiles, high wooden beamed ceilings, large and spacious living space and bedrooms, balconies, terraces, wooden windows and shutters and not forgetting the Cool Moorish Patio…There is accommodation for up to 22 people in 7 different sections. Everyone has access to the communal facilities of the Kitchen, Large chill out sitting and dining room, Moorish Patio and the 125m2 Roof Terrace complete with views out to North Africa and the Straits of Gibraltar.

La Residencia

● Featuring a roof-top infinity pool and impressive views across the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa, La Residencia Tarifa is set on the edge of Tarifa’s Old Town. It offers stylish air-conditioned apartments and studios. Each bright apartment has modern décor, a satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Most accommodation offers a private balcony or terrace with sea views. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, ceramic hob and coffee machine. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and Wi-Fi radio. La Residencia Tarifa’s roof terrace features a heated infinity pool with temperatures ranging from 28 to 32 degrees, as well as sun loungers. Guests also have free access to the sauna. There is a laundry room, including a tumble dryer.

Hotel Hurricane

● The beautiful Moroccan style Hurricane Hotel is surrounded by subtropical gardens and located right on a pristine white sand beach. The facilities include two swimming pools, a fine restaurant, a small spa and gym, horse riding stables, a snack bar overlooking the beach and, of course, plenty of activities. There is a choice of 16 rooms (doubles or twins) overlooking the garden, from 12 rooms (doubles or twins) overlooking the pool, 2 luxury suites, and 3 family suites. All rooms are uniquely decorated and equipped with a minibar, safe, air conditioning, central heating, and almost all have a TV.

Hotel Dos Mares

● The Dos Mares, an original beach retreat tinted with bright colors and a warm charm. In a natural setting overlooking to the African coasts. Located on the sand of the beach of Los Lances at the idyllic landscape of the Straits of Gibraltar. Different room types to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. All rooms have free WIFI access. All rooms have air conditioning / heating, plasma TV, safe, telephone, mini bar cooler type and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Hotel offers free parking and is free for guests staying at the hotel.
