What is BACnet?

BACnet (Building Automation and Control Network) is the ANSI/ASHRAE industry's standard 135-1995 that was adopted and supported by the ANSI and ASHRAE. It is also a nonexclusive standard protocol supported by the associations consisted of building managers, system users and manufacturing industries.
